Cloudflare will soon offer new protections against domain spoofing and typosquatting to customers, as part of the new Brand Protection tool in the Cloudflare Security Center.

Attackers frequently attempt to trick unsuspecting victims with domain spoofing or typosquatting—creating a website domain to steal private information like passwords or credit card numbers. These domains very closely resemble (or “spoof”) the legitimate domain of a brand.

Our new phishing and brand protection capabilities will let organizations better preserve brand trust by detecting and even blocking “confusable” and lookalike domains involved in phishing campaigns.
