Secrets are any variables that should be stored securely and only accessed by authorized users or systems. An example of this is authentication credentials. Secrets stored in plain text, or even hard coded, can potentially lead to data breaches or resource theft.

Our new secrets store will give you the tools you need to access and manage secrets across the Cloudflare platform, ensuring cryptographic keys, credentials, tokens, and other secrets are stored securely and privately while maintaining ease of use for engineering teams as they build.
