Even though changing your name servers sounds intimidating, it's actually pretty easy! After you create a Cloudflare account and choose a plan, you'll be instructed to change your nameservers. You simply need to navigate to your domain settings within your WordPress.com dashboard and copy and paste a few settings. Full instructions for how to do this can be found here.
